Personalized CANcer Primary Prevention research through Citizen Participation and digitally enabled social innovation
With the collective efforts of 17 organisations from 11 countries, including European Union (EU) and Balkan countries such as Romania, Bulgaria, and Republic of Moldova 4P-CAN aims to tackle the primary prevention of cancer.
In its mission to enhance cancer primary prevention activities and reduce inequalities, 4P-CAN focuses on modifiable risk factors such as smoking, alcohol consumption, physical inactivity, excess body weight, HPV and HBV infections, environmental pollution, and policy implementation challenges in Eastern European.

By targeting key risk factors and understanding the complexities of policy implementation and individual adherence through the Living-lab, 4P-CAN brings together a diverse consortium to make a significant impact on primary prevention activities in Eastern European countries. This collaborative effort aims to reduce inequalities and promote healthier lifestyles for a brighter future.
