On 17 November 2025, 4P-CAN Project coordinator Dr. Marius Geantă participated in the online event Building Bridges in Digital Health: Data, Policy & People, organised by SHINE 2Europe.
With a total of 85 single participants in the two days, SHINE 2Europe and several key partners brought together European projects, organisations, and stakeholders to share experiences, align strategies, and strengthen collaboration around three critical pillars that shape the success of digital health: data & cybersecurity, policy and real-world implementation, and meaningful involvement of people in research.
In his presentation, Marius Geantă reflected on the need of building bridges from adolescents and young adults (AYA) to older citizens in rural areas, ensuring that everyone can live in supportive, healthy environments – an approach closely aligned with the principles of SHAFE (Smart Healthy Age-Friendly Environments). The theme extended to bridging people from different backgrounds, both at the international level and within local communities, such as those engaged through the 4P-CAN initiative.
